The problem
The notebook worked. Until it didn’t.
A mobile money point is cash in, cash out and float — moving fast. This is one agent’s real end-of-day close, told in the numbers it produced.

What the numbers don’t say
6 losses- 01
Cash and float get mixed
The float you bought sits in the same drawer as your cash, so the report shows cash short wherever the float over-covers it.
- 02
The notebook has no memory
Three deposits never made it into the book today. One lost page later, and that count is gone for good.
- 03
Closing takes an hour a day
Counting and re-adding the same figures every evening, from memory — an hour stolen from every single day.
- 04
Losses surface weeks later
The shortage existed on day 2. Nobody could see it until day 13, when no one could retrace whose shift it was.
- 05
No per-agent accountability
Six people shared the till across the week and none signed it over. “Who handled that phone?” has no answer.
- 06
Revenue is a guess
Commissions, fees and expenses never land in one place, so the real bottom line is a blank cell at close.
Finnotes was built to make each of these the exception, not the daily routine.

Who Finnotes is for
One phone, one point — or a whole network
Finnotes fits a single agent running their own drawer, and it scales from there without changing how entries are recorded.
01
The single point
One agent, one phone, one drawer. Finnotes turns your evening closing check into a two-minute routine and your history into something you can actually look back on.
02
The growing network
Two, three, five points with different agents. Each branch keeps its own balances and history, while everything rolls up into one business-wide overview.
03
The agency
You oversee the money but never touch it. Read every branch, see which one earns and which branch moves the volume — without recording a single entry.

Daily rhythm
Shift in, transact, cash up, reconcile.
Every agent starts a shift with the cash and float they actually hold. During the day they record transactions as they happen. At closing they enter what is really in the drawer — and Finnotes instantly shows whether it matches. No more guessing who lost the 50,000 SSP.
- Per-agent shift accountability
- Expected vs actual cash and float

What changes
Your first week on Finnotes, in four numbers
The point of the platform is not a fuller notebook. It is a quieter evening, a cleaner drawer and a business you can actually see.
01
Transactions in seconds
A deposit, withdrawal or float purchase is recorded in under ten seconds, and every balance updates instantly.
02
Closings in minutes
Expected vs actual is computed for you. A discrepancy is flagged the moment you close — not discovered months later.
03
Losses caught early
The 50,000 SSP shortage shows up tonight, while the shift is still traceable and the money might still be recoverable.
04
Books you can trust
Immutable history, reversals instead of deletions, and an audit log you can review. Goodbye, scraps of paper.

FAQ
Questions, answered
01Is Finnotes a mobile money wallet?
No. Finnotes records and reconciles the mobile money business you already operate. It never executes transactions with telecom providers — it is the management, accounting and reporting layer that sits alongside your operations.
02Which providers does it support?
MTN Mobile Money and Zain Money out of the box, plus a generic provider. The platform is built around a provider abstraction, so adding a new mobile money operator in any country in future is a configuration change, not a rewrite.
03What happens if my internet connection drops mid-transaction?
The app is designed for unreliable connectivity. Transactions use idempotency keys, so retrying a request never creates a duplicate entry. PWA support, local caching and a clear network indicator are built into the product vision.
